DMTC seeks applied research proposals supporting high temperature structures and sub-assemblies development

Through DMTC, Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG) is seeking innovative applied research proposals supporting development of high temperature structures and sub-assemblies. The aim is to complement parallel efforts in the field, and support the development of sovereign industrial capability with specific elements and sub-assembly knowledge that will be crucial in supporting the construction of full-scale hypersonic platforms.

Collaborations supported under the RFP will directly align with the aims of the Australian defence and national security community by complementing parallel efforts in the field, and supporting the development of sovereign industrial capability with specific elements and knowledge which will be crucial in building full-scale hypersonic platforms. This follows the announcement of a strategic hypersonic materials partnership between DMTC, the Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG), Quickstep Holdings Ltd, and the University of NSW (UNSW).

More information on this request for proposals, including an RFP documentation pack and quad chart template, are available here.
